It is good to get lost sometimes. The comfort zone, after all, is the box that keeps you stuck in four corners. For the mind to wander, the eye must travel beyond those walls. And so one fine weekend (of many other weekends 🙂 I decided to get lost, guided only by a visual memory of a small lighthouse somewhere in Tanay, Rizal.
Or who knows where it actually is, really. Adventures are born that way; they are the children of uncertainties and a heart’s desire for change. There are bound to be bumps along the way, a missed corner or two, detours to other discoveries, and distractions from new acquaintances. But it’s all part of the journey. Every stop is the destination, and sometimes a new friend waiting to be found.
And the best reward is not to get there at all, but being in the moment.
